Back in the dark days before broadband and digital video, we produced a series of shorts on street culture for a producer in LA with dreams of becoming a digital content producer, whose client was Sprint. Rudimentary file encoding specs yielded super low rez video files that were to be delivered over a prehistoric cell phone system. Despite these challenges, The Street presented a cross section of the art and cultural pursuits of street life in and around Portland, OR. The project became a great reality bites moment in our career.
