Cascade Head Biosphere Reserve

One of only 171 UNESCO Biosphere Reserves on earth, the 56,698-acre site making up the Cascade Head Biosphere Reserve is a unique land/sea connection protected and managed by a dynamic community of agencies, non-profits, businesses, and residents in the surrounding communities of the Central Oregon Coast. The Cascade Head Biosphere Reserve encompasses the Cascade Head Marine Reserve…one of five along the Oregon Coast managed by the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Department.

The Cascade Head Biosphere Reserve promotes commerce in harmony with conservation, supporting a balance between economy and ecology to ensure the health of both the environment and livelihoods. In April 2019 FPM produced a series of videos to promote the activities and community outreach programs of the Cascade Head Biosphere Reserve program season running from May to September, 2019. More at… cascadehead.org
