4CAST Project

In early 2022, FPM produced an overview video for the 4CAST Project featuring interviews with three of the program’s leaders telling the story of the organization, its initiatives and goals. We’re also developing means to create additional videos and social media content to provide updates on new program development, community events and to recruit and train citizen volunteers.

The mission of the 4CAST Project is to generate insights, awareness and actionable solutions for the thermal effects of climate change within the sentinel site, Cascade Head UNESCO Biosphere Reserve on the beautiful central Oregon Coast.

The 4CAST Project is a dynamic collaborative made up of state and federal agencies, institutions of higher learning, and NGO’s serving the environment & education. The collaborative is observing and recording the whole, interrelated ecosystem at Cascade Head through activities in the Uplands, River & Estuary, Near-Shore, and Sub-Tidal / Oceanic habitats.

Community volunteers are what bring the 4 CAST Project to life. People from the local community are invited to get involved as a volunteer, sponsor or donate, to effect local impact climate change that will make a very real difference. Look for details at…4castproject.org
